VTA Industrial Agitator

The agitator for IBC (VTA model) is the ideal solution to keep homogeneously the liquids contained in the IBC (Intermediate bulk container) or GRG (Large Bulk Goods Container) tanks during transport and / or storage.

The special design of its turbine allows its passage through the hole of such a small diameter that these tanks usually have (approximately 140mm). The turbine blades, once the motor is driven and the shaft begins to rotate, are automatically lifted providing the agitation required for the intended objective in each application (homogenization, suspension of solids or dissolution).

Application areas

Due to their excellent results as well as their great flexibility and portability, the fields of application of our VTA agitators are the most varied: mixture of reagents for water treatment, transport companies and supply of chemical products, small factories of paints, detergents, gels, food industry, pharmaceutical industry, adhesives…

Our technical department will recommend the equipment with the most appropriate rotational speed and the most recommended shaft and turbine manufacturing material (AISI 316L, Hastelloy, Titanium, PVDF plastic materials, PEEK, POLYPROPYLENE …) depending on the characteristics of the products stored in the IBC tanks.

  • Powers from: 0.37 kW to 2.2 kW.
  •  Output speed 100 to 150 rpm.
  • Axial turbine 4 folding blades.
  • Shaft and impeller AISI 316.
  • Optional IBC/GRG tank holder.

As an option, we supply benches with quick anchoring system and sockets with sufficient measures to introduce the forks of a forklift and transport the entire assembly from one tank to another in an effective and quick way.

We design the bench according to the needs of the client, in galvanized or stainless steel, with tube (camlock type connection) or hopper for addiction of liquids or powders to mix or disperse inside the tank.
